The Mira Mesa High School FoundationThe purpose of the Mira Mesa High School Foundation is to raise funds for the benefit of students by improving school site facilities, academic, athletic and other on campus programs. The organization is also being established to support campus organizations in all areas of school including the arts, band and other extra-curricular programs. The Foundation members are an energetic group of volunteers consisting of parents, alumni, school administrators, and other community members who are dedicated to raising funds for MMHS's school site facilities, academic, athletic and other campus programs. Projects undertaken are generally those for which school funding is insufficient or unavailable. The Mira Mesa High School Foundation is a California Public Benefit Corporation and is designated as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
Taste of Mira Mesa The third annual Taste of Mira Mesa was held the evening of Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Gen-Probe, Inc., in western Mira Mesa. Pictures are now online. The second annual Taste of Mira Mesa held Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Gen-Probe, Inc. earned over $10,000! We thank our sponsors and all who participated in the event. The first annual Taste of Mira Mesa in 2006 was also a great success! Thanks to all who attended and contributed to this event!
